Information for Coaches
COACH’S CHECKLIST
1. PAY TEAM ENTRY FEE
USFFD has simplifiled the process for any team to enter the USFFD National Championship.
All you need to do is send in your entry fee before the deadline and your team is IN!
There are no forms to fill out prior to sending in the entry fee.
The entry fees for 2008 are as follows:
$400 for Men 8x8 Ineligible - Limit 30 Players on Roster
$350 for Women 8x8 Ineligible - Limit 30 Players on Roster
$350 for Co-ed 8x8 Eligible - Limit 30 Players on Roster
$250 for Men 4x4 / Women 4x4 - Limit 8 Players on Roster
Deadline for 23rd USFFD Nationals team entry fees is on OCTOBER 2ND, 2008 at midnight EST. All payments must be cleared by that date if paid via Paypal. No exceptions for late payments. Once you have paid, you will receive your team entry form(s) and receipt(s) from the USFFD treasurer via mail within a couple business days. For payments received on October 2nd, you will receive your team form by October 8th due to the high volume of payments.

2. SIGN UP PLAYERS ON REGISTRATION/WAIVER FORM
Once you pay your entry fee, you will be given a link to download the 2008 registration forms off our website. Each team is responsible for the accuracy of the information on the
forms. All information must be LEGIBLE and the signatures must be signed by the players
themselves.
NOTE: PLEASE TAKE GREAT CARE TO ENSURE ALL PLAYERS ARE
ACCOUNTED FOR! YOUR TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR HAVING AN ILLEGAL
PLAYER THAT WAS NOT ON THE ROSTER FORM!
3. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Teams MUST purchase and use their own set of SONIC BOOM belts! These are different from the
past belts (Triple Threat) as the USFTL rule book now specifies the SONIC BOOM brand. It is a DIFFERENT design (two flags on a belt, each one can be pulled off)
You can order/purchase them by clicking here or using the Flag-Tag link on USFFD’s website. The cost is approximately $5.00 each.
Jerseys must be similar and have an unique number on each of them. Referees will be
checking equipment prior to games to make sure that all players are complying. If you have
any questions about equipment, please feel free to ask us or consult with the USFTL Rule Book!
Other Equipment Notes:
- NO METAL SPIKES allowed!!
- We encourage all players to use mouthguards!
4. $15 PLAYER FEE
Pay $15 per player prior to the huddle meeting. If a player is playing in 4x4 AND 8x8 - Only need to pay this fee once.
5. HUDDLE MEETING WILL BE ON October 10, 2008 AT 6 PM AT RCCD
Each team has one delegate vote – Please only send one representative to the meeting for each team.
